About The Designer
Tameca Hodges born in Dallas, Texas. Tameca’s love for fashion started as a child when she would make clothing by hand for Dolls. Her love for fashion continued even throughout her teenage years where she won Best Dressed in High School. Tameca was best known for never wearing the same thing twice.
After graduating High School, Tameca went to College to pursue a career in Criminal Justice while working as a Technical Engineer. Nearly two years into College Tameca dropped out and enrolled in a trade school where she trained to become a Court Reporter, while still working full time as a Technical Engineer. After spending over Two years in Court Reporting school she decided to take her Engineering Career more seriously. She withdrew from the trade school and took a promotion in the Engineering field. Tameca worked in Technical Engineering & Telecom for 8 years before she decided to take her love for fashion to the next level. Tameca took a volunteer lay-off in March 2006 from the Telecommunications industry and then opened a Fashion boutique in July 2006. Tameca traveled state to state to find the best garments for her boutique. While the boutique made money this did not satisfy her love for fashion as she was selling garments created by someone else. “The pieces were nice but they were not my designs”. Tameca often mentions when asked why she didn’t keep the boutique open. “I wanted to create something of my OWN”. She closed the boutique and began to create her own Fashion Brand. In 2008 she Launched the DENYM & diamonds Brand with a Fashion Show at The Dallas Market Hall.
At DENYM & diamonds you will find unique Ready -To-Wear, Couture One of One Pieces & Bridal Gowns. Tameca has used her gift for fashion to raise money for Organizations like Susan G. Komen & The North Texas Food Bank.
The Brand is currently sold privately through their business website, but Tameca is in the process of working to offer the Brand in Luxury Department stores. The ultimate goal is the make DENYM & diamonds a household name and a Global Brand.
As Tameca continues to strive for excellence with her purpose in Fashion, she also plans to open a Fashion School.
